  1. Discuss the nature of God's promises and how they are trustworthy and unchanging. Emphasize that God's promises are a reflection of His character and faithfulness. Scripture passages to consider: Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18.
  2. Highlight some key promises that God has made to His people throughout the Bible. For example, you could discuss the promise of salvation (John 3:16), the promise of guidance (Proverbs 3:5-6), or the promise of provision (Philippians 4:19).
  3. Help your listeners understand how God's promises are relevant and applicable to their daily lives. Show them how they can find comfort, hope, and strength in God's promises. Encourage them to trust in His faithfulness. Scripture passages to consider: Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 41:10.
  4. Share stories from the Bible where individuals experienced the fulfillment of God's promises. For instance, you could talk about Abraham and Sarah's fulfillment of the promise of a son (Genesis 21:1-3) or Joseph's journey from slavery to leadership (Genesis 50:20).
  5. Acknowledge that sometimes it can be difficult to hold onto God's promises, especially when circumstances seem contrary. Offer encouragement and practical advice on how to overcome doubts and strengthen faith in God's promises. Scripture passages to consider: Romans 8:28, James 1:2-4.
